3 men arrested on drug charges in California

A police investigation led to the arrests of three men recently. The men were allegedly members of a white supremacist gang. They were from various locations, but the arrests were made in California. The alleged crimes led to weapons and drug charges for the men.

Authorities say that they were monitoring crimes in the California location and following the activities of the alleged gang members. Two traffic stops led to arrests and the seizure of large sums of cash and drugs. A quarter pound of meth, heroin, $12,000 cash, batons, a money counter and a Taser were all seized during the first stop. A 53-year-old man remains in custody after that traffic stop.

During another traffic stop, police seized meth, a gun, ammo and more drug paraphernalia, which led to the arrest of an out-of-state man and another person. Both individuals posted bail and were released. Gang investigators have been looking into alleged gang activities in the area and also reported multiple other arrests and seizure of contraband related to the alleged gang activity in the area.

Police are working hard to keep drugs and weapons off of the streets. Unfortunately, sometimes individuals get caught up in investigations and are charged with crimes that they may or may not have committed. Drug charges can carry serious penalties and possible jail time if convictions are ultimately secured. Many individuals in California who have been charged with crimes choose to work with an experienced criminal defense attorney who can help mount a vigorous defense against criminal charges.
